Product Description
Industrial Gasket Sheets are compressed sealing materials supplied in asbestos rubber and asbestos-free grades. They are mainly used for cutting flange gaskets and equipment seals for pipelines, pumps, valves, compressors, boilers and other industrial equipment.
The sheets provide good compressibility, recovery and sealing performance, helping compensate for minor flange-surface irregularities and reduce leakage. Different grades are available for water, steam, air, oil, fuel and general industrial fluids.

Compressed Asbestos Rubber Sheets
Compressed asbestos rubber sheets are manufactured from asbestos fibers, rubber binders and heat-resistant fillers. They are generally divided into standard, oil-resistant and reinforced grades.
Standard XB Series: XB150; XB200; XB250; XB300; XB350; XB400; XB450; XB510
The XB series is commonly used for water, steam, air, inert gases and general pipeline flange sealing. The number normally represents the nominal temperature grade—for example, XB200 is the 200°C class and XB350 is the 350°C class. Commonly published grades range from XB150 to XB510.
Oil-Resistant NY Series: NY150; NY250; NY300; NY400; NY510
Oil-resistant sheets use an oil-resistant rubber binder and are designed for petroleum oils, fuels, lubricants, hydrocarbons and related industrial fluids. For example, published NY400 specifications identify a nominal maximum temperature of 400°C and pressure of 4 MPa.
Acid-resisting,Wire-reinforced and graphite-coated versions are also available for selected operating conditions.
Compressed Non-Asbestos Fiber Sheets
Compressed non-asbestos fiber sheets, also known as CNAF gasket sheets, are manufactured from aramid, mineral, glass, carbon or other synthetic fibers combined with elastomeric binders.
The main categories include:
- General-Purpose Sheet: Suitable for water, air and low-pressure steam.
- Oil-Resistant Sheet: Suitable for oils, fuels, lubricants and hydrocarbons.
- High-Temperature Sheet: Suitable for steam and higher-temperature industrial service.
- Chemical-Resistant Sheet: Suitable for selected mild acids, alkalis and industrial chemicals.
Size
Industrial gasket sheets are available in standard sheets, long sheets and rolls.
