Product Description
Red Reflex Gauge Glass is designed to provide clear, high-contrast liquid level indication in industrial level gauges. Its precision-molded prismatic grooves and a temperature-resistant red coating create a distinctive red-to-dark visual contrast between the gas and liquid zones, helping operators identify the liquid level quickly and reliably. It is suitable for boilers, tanks, pressure vessels and process equipment within the specified operating limits of the complete level gauge assembly.
The medium-facing surface of the glass features precision-molded prismatic grooves. In the gas or vapor zone, incident light is reflected by the grooves, producing a bright red appearance. In the liquid zone, contact between the liquid and the prismatic surface changes the optical conditions, allowing more light to pass through and making the liquid area appear dark. This red-to-dark contrast helps operators identify the liquid level clearly without a separate illuminator.
