Borosilicate gauge glass is an industrial observation glass valued for its excellent transparency, low thermal expansion, thermal-shock resistance, chemical durability, and manufacturing flexibility. It provides clear and reliable visual monitoring of liquid levels, flow conditions, and process media in tanks, boilers, pipelines, valves, pumps, and other industrial equipment. Depending on the application and equipment design, it can be manufactured into reflex gauge glass, transparent gauge glass, circular sight glass, tubular gauge glass, and other customized components. It is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications where ordinary soda-lime glass may not provide adequate resistance to heat, chemicals, or temperature changes. For more severe operating temperatures, higher mechanical loads, or demanding pressure conditions, aluminosilicate gauge glass may be considered. The appropriate glass material should be selected based on the actual operating temperature, pressure, process medium, glass dimensions, sealing structure, and applicable equipment standards.
